45 Degree Youth
"The 45-degree life," as an emerging internet term, reflects the increasingly popular social issues that have arisen due to the intense competition in current Chinese society. Many people are caught in a frantic state of internal strife, with young people wanting to join in but unable to do so, and unwilling to give up, thus finding themselves stuck in an awkward 45-degree position. The film tells the story of Wang Chunyu, a teacher at Zhejiang Yuying Vocational and Technical College.
